 Play Through the Bible

Games, crafts, coloring, role playing, music and song . . . in our home every day is Sunday School or VBS.

 Outdoor, Nature, P.E.

Whether indoor, or outdoor, you can get your kids up and moving, stretching their legs and getting their energy (and jitters) out while at the same time discovering things in nature and the world around them!

 All About Me

There is so much for a child to discover about themselves, the five senses, their emotions, how their body works, their family, and the different interests and characteristics that make them such a unique and special individual.

Make instruments, sing songs, and learn with music!

 Storytime Read-Aloud

There is nothing to compare with good quality “Read Aloud” time. It’s not only good for parent-child relationship bonding, but it has also been proven scientifically that children who are read aloud to in their younger years have a much easier time with their academic studies when they are older.

Pretend Play (Learning with the Imagination)

The imagination is a very powerful learning tool that is often overlooked. Pretend play can be a great addition to any young learner classes and lessons. Children can discover the world around them without even realizing they are learning.

Fun and Learning with Winnie the Pooh

Kids love Winnie the Pooh and my kids are no exception. My daughter got hooked on Winnie the Pooh when she was just barely one-year old. Even at such a young age she was following along with the videos, had all the names of the characters memorized, and could quote lines from the movies or sing along to the songs.

That’s when I realized that, if she’s old enough to already be memorizing characters, lines, and songs from the movies, she could start working on learning her numbers, shapes, colors, and more!

 Discovering Animals & Animal Sounds

I wasn’t sure, for the longest time, whether I should make this a subject of its own or incorporate it into the other subjects, but finally decided it was worth creating a subject out of.

Children have a very special place in their heart for animals, which is why so much of children’s literature and learning activities
